She is turned to the left and holds the red wool she has been spinning in her right hand. The unspun wool rests on the bench she has been sitting on. The Angel Gabriel floats on the left just before the doorway. His wings cross over and cover his legs. Two small angelic heads and a dove hover at the apex of the image.
